Peter Hayes Joins
IncentOne to Guide Employer Offerings
Experienced and Innovative Benefits
Strategist to Steer IncentOne Employer Strategy
May 21, 2010 - Lyndhurst, NJ -- IncentOne, a leading
provider of incentive solutions to the healthcare
community, announced today that Peter Hayes
has joined the IncentOne team in a consulting
capacity. Hayes will round out the most
robust health team in the sector as incentives
become the cornerstone of engagement strategies
for payers, health services companies and
employers.
As one of the most influential benefits managers in the country and a frequent
contributor to government, national and
regional health benefits debates, Hayes
will be instrumental in guiding IncentOne’s
strategy to serve employers of various sizes
and the payers and health management companies
that serve them.
"Peter was developing incentive and engagement strategies long before they
were in vogue,” explained Michael
G. Dermer, President and CEO of IncentOne.
“His reputation for innovation and
the marrying of value based design and incentives
is unparalleled."
"IncentOne has cracked the code when it comes to being the universal remote
to serve various engagement strategies and
the data to predict success,” said
Hayes. “With health reform and the
different needs of employers, the flexibility
to offer quantifiable outcomes and other
designs and to combine it with independent
data is exciting to explore."
Formerly Hayes was the Head of Benefit
of Hannaford Brothers Supermarkets, a company
focused on innovative solutions for patient
advocacy and disease management programs.
Under his management the company received
numerous national awards in recognition
of the company’s commitment to providing
quality focused health benefits in collaboration
with healthcare providers and vendors. Most
recently he was responsible for the company
being awarded the Gold designation for health
promotion programs by the National Business
Group on Health.
Hayes has been appointed by two different
governors to participate in Health Care
Reform Commissions. He was a co-founder
of the Maine Health Management Coalition
and is currently co-chairman of the Maine
Employer Purchasing Collaborative. Recently,
he participated on Gov. John Baldacci’s
“Health Action Team” to advise
his administration on health reform that
resulted in significant legislation to help
address extending affordable coverage to
the uninsured residents of Maine. Peter
is a graduate of Bowdoin College.
