Dr. Hughes is an expert in health behavior change and program analytics. She has held research positions at major universities and has published several peer-reviewed articles. Her consulting work focuses on developing analytical tools, programs, and products for healthcare technology firms, insurance companies, and employers. Prior to starting Approach Health, Dr. Hughes taught nutrition at DePaul University and helped design workplace wellness programs at Ford Motor Company. She has a Ph.D. from the University of Washington, an M.S. from the University of Michigan, and a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
